On the road and around the world on your behalf

30,500 pallet storage places that would extend over a total length of 36 kilometres, if laid end to end, 160 million units that are dispatched each year. These are just some of the impressive statistics that our central warehouse in Winsen/Luhe is able to come up with. It is part of a sophisticated logistics concept, with which our goods are transported efficiently and promptly to our stores across Europe.

Our fashion has already completed a real world trip by the time it reaches your wardrobe. The goods from Asia arrive by container ship at one of the international ports, such as Hamburg, Bremerhaven or Rotterdam. Goods are transported for several weeks across the ocean, but this offers a clear cost benefit that we are able to pass on to you in the form of lower prices.
The goods firstly arrive at the large central warehouse in Winsen/Luhe that was only opened in June 2011 on the outskirts of Hamburg. Its key task is to take delivery of the imported goods that are then forwarded onto our three distribution centres in Telgte, Schnelldort and Senec in Slovakia. The particular challenge is to distribute the goods accurately across the three further warehouse sites, as all our stores are supplied from here.

Together with modern computer technology, it is our experienced staff, in particular, who ensure that you also receive your favourite fashion promptly. All goods that arrive in Winsen are captured digitally and picked in such a way that are individually grouped for every single store based on factors, such as outlet size or the make-up of the range, for example.

And then it's back on the road and out to the three distribution centres by lorry. And fashion is delivered from here into the stores, either by a partner haulier or using our own fleet of vehicles. Every location is responsible for a fixed number of outlets that are generally supplied at least once a week. In this way the latest trends not only arrive with you particularly quickly, but also do not have to be stored for long periods of time tying up costs – and this too you'll notice in your pockets.
