Takko Fashion is a member of Fair Wear Foundation

"We attach great importance to the topic of working conditions and social responsibility in our production countries. The cooperation in this area with an internationally recognised organisation such as Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is a further important step to reaching the goals set in the sustainability sector and to further optimising our standards.

Fair Wear Foundation is an internationally active non-profit organisation, which monitors the compliance to socially sustainable working conditions in textile producing countries. Numerous well-known companies are already a member of FWF.

Together we have defined the aims of our cooperation. These are based on our company's own code of conduct for suppliers and producers, whose compliance we already monitor by internal and external checks. FWF’s verification and reporting activities will add greater transparency and an impartial, external assessment of Takko Fashion’s ongoing efforts. Each year FWF will publish independent reports on Takko Fashion’s progress towards implementation of the Fair Wear Foundation Code of Labour Practices, and will provide recommendations and feedback when appropriate. 

We use these results to assure the quality of our internal control procedures and thereby you can look at them as an addition to our already established procedures. Furthermore, the membership in FWF enables us to swap ideas on this important subject with other brands and to work together for the improvement of working conditions in our supply chain.
