The code of conduct

Adherence to social standards in the producing countries has been regulated for many years by a contractual agreement between Takko Fashion and its producers and subcontractors. A fixed code of conduct applies to all producers and suppliers that commits operators of all companies to utmost fairness, honesty and responsibility in every aspect of their business. This includes not using any child or forced labour in the production of Takko Fashion products.

Regular inspections by Takko Fashion or by independent organisations ensure that the code of conduct is being upheld. These can be unannounced inspections to the local production facilities or employee surveys. Any breach of the contractually agreed standards will result in the business relationship being terminated with immediate effect.
