Social Commitment
Takko supports children in Ethiopia
Since 1990 we have been partners of the aid organisation "kinder unserer welt" (children of our world). The commitment dates back to company founder Walther Seinsch and has been continued by Takko since then.
Through the support of Takko over the last few years in the country scarred by civil war, drought and poverty, several projects have been successfully brought to life including a:
Medical Centre for Mothers and Children (MCHC) in Endaselassie/Tigray
An education project for girls and young women (VTC)
A project for the reintegration of street children (Jimma) shortly before the start
To date Takko has supported these projects with over EUR 500,000. We would like to take this opportunity here to thank everyone who has participated in this charity fundraising.
